How to play Stranded
Stranded is a free daily word game in the browser. A small alien has crashed, and you have six questions to get him home. Answers score more when fewer other players gave them.
The total, out of 3,000, picks one of nine endings. A new run opens every day and takes about two minutes.
This is not the New York Times Strands game. Strands is a different puzzle. Stranded lives at stranded.run.
Rare answers change your ending
Across six questions, less common correct answers add more to the total. The final score is out of 3,000 and determines the ending of the run.
This guide covers stranded.run. It does not provide answers to the New York Times Strands word-search puzzle.
Choose an unusual answer you can defend
First make sure your answer fits the question. Then try to think of one fewer players would give.
