The original game has Daily and Unlimited modes. You can also try QuizCubby Dive, our own separate practice game.
How a Krillion round works
Read the question, type an answer that fits, and submit it before time runs out. A less common answer can earn more depth, but it must be accepted by the game.
Everyone gets the same seven questions in the daily game, so you can compare results with friends. Follow the timer and scoring shown in the official game. QuizCubby has its own separate scores.
What makes an answer rare?
A rare answer is one fewer people are likely to think of. It still has to be correct. A longer answer does not automatically score more.
For practice, consider the category ‘Name an ocean.’ Most people quickly think of the Pacific or Atlantic. The Southern Ocean is another valid option. This is an illustration of choosing a less obvious answer, not a claim about today’s official scoring.
Daily Krillion, official Unlimited, or QuizCubby Dive?
Choose Daily on the official site to play the same seven questions as everyone else. Choose Unlimited to play more rounds.
QuizCubby Dive is our own free game. It has 200 questions, with seven per round and 25 seconds for each. It uses its own answers and scoring, so its results are separate from official Krillion.
| Option | Where to play | Best for |

| QuizCubby Dive | This site | Independent seven-question practice |
Krillion vs Noillirk: opposite goals
Krillion asks for the uncommon correct answer. Noillirk rewards the answer that a crowd is most likely to give. That reversal is why Noillirk is often described as reverse Krillion or opposite Krillion.
If you enjoy recognising an obscure name, start with Krillion. If you enjoy predicting the obvious answer other people will choose, try Noillirk. Its guide on QuizCubby includes current hints and available answers.
Why a good answer can still be missing
Official Krillion checks answers against lists made for each question. Its FAQ explains that these lists come from several sources and may include different names for the same answer.
A correct answer can still be missing from a list. Check the spelling and the wording of the question, then try another answer if you have time.
